Graze Days
We’re bringing the sheep and goats back out to work their magic. Come out to see these amazing critters in action, and learn a little something about healthy soil principles and the benefits of prescribed grazing.
Coffee & Donuts on the Rail Trail
Celebrate Bike to Work Day and Santa Fe’s first Summer of Bike with the Conservancy and the Metropolitan Planning Organization! Stop by for free coffee and Whoo’s donuts.
Yardmasters
Drop in on a Tuesday or Thursday morning to assist us with specialized horticulture care in the Railyard Park. Bring a water bottle, gloves and dress for the weather, we’ll provide the tools and training.
ONGOING & RECENT PROJECTS
Graze Days
With the use of grazing sheep and goats, the Railyard Park Conservancy’s project aims to restore the health of the soil and the Blue Grama grasses in the Railyard Park.
Railyard Art Project
The Railyard Art Project facilitates temporary public art installations and performances in the Railyard Park + Plaza from both emerging and established artists and collectives.
Sand Play Saturday
The Railyard Park Conservancy is committed to working with educators to get kids learning outdoors, and offering parents new ways to connect their children to nature.
Field Trips
The Railyard Park Conservancy works with local elementary and middle schools to engage their students with outdoor learning opportunities in the Railyard Park.
