Saturday, May 21st,2016, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm – Pest Identification and Bug Walk with Victor Lucero, Integrated Pest Management Program Manager, City of Santa Fe

Victor will introduce participants to common Santa Fe area pests, how to control them, and lead a bug walk through the Park. Bring samples of pests from your home for him to identify. A native of Santa Fe, Victor earned a BS Degree in Pest Management from the College of Agriculture, Consumer and Life Sciences at New Mexico State University. He has worked in Integrated Pest Management for Texas A & M Agriculture Extension Service in both urban and agricultural programs and is a member of the Southwestern Branch of the Entomological Society of America with professional interests in the control of Ash whitefly and invasive species.
We will meet at the Railyard Park Community Room.
