2017 Community Garden: Apply!
The Railyard Park Conservancy offers 11 individual, organic garden plots in our Community Garden, located at the south end of the Railyard Park. We provide mulch for your gardens, in addition to maintaining an active, diverse compost pile. The 400-year-old Acequia Madre and Acequia Niña water system runs through the Park, and from time to time, are used to flood irrigate the Heritage Waffle Garden and the Community Garden. We begin taking applications in February and plots are reserved quickly. For more information contact Christy Downs, Program Coordinator, at (505)316-3596 or email: email@example.com.
Deadline to submit your Community Garden Plot Application is May 20th! SO RESERVE YOUR PLOT TODAY!
Plots are $25 for the year.
Too busy for your own plot? Many people co-garden with friends or neighbors to ensure a garden well-cared for. All participants need to submit an application and noting who they are co-gardening with.
