Free Public workshop held at the Railyard Park Community Room.

Seed Starting Workshop Presenter – Bob Pennington, owner and expert at the beloved Agua Fria Nursery.

Bob will be teaching us the best way to start your garden from seed and the many tips he’s learned throughout his life living in our climate and region. Learn nuances of different common plantings as well as tips for maximizing starting indoors and outdoors.

Meet at the Community Room prior to 9am to sign in and sign out your 2 hour free parking pass (you must return the pass when done). The Community Room is behind SITE Santa Fe. Turn down Callejon St. alongside the railroad tracks, directly across from the Farmers Market, and park in the lot.  Free workshop, RSVP is appreciated. Our 2017 Community Workshop Series features experts in agricultural and horticultural techniques, in topics ranging from tree care and pest management to informational workshops on topics such as the Acequias of New Mexico.  To help you prepare for the growing season, we’ve expanded our annual gardening workshops with more offerings.
