Join the Railyard Park Conservancy's Railyard Art Project for a closing celebration of James Gould’s "Sprickle", a mixed media installation on exhibit in the Railyard Park’s Open Field. Stop by to meet the artist, and enjoy drinks, snacks, a stilt walker, and live music by Glorieta Pines. Event attendees also will be allowed special access inside the "Sprickle" structure.

This project is partly supported by New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the City of Santa Fe’s Arts and Culture Department.

Helping hands come in all shapes and sizes at Sand Play Saturday. Lend yours starting June 7th in the park's Children's Play Area, and enjoy a morning of exploration, connection, and creative play. Running every Saturday through August 30th (except for July 12th, due to the International Folk Art Market).

Join the Railyard Park Conservancy for an afternoo

Join the Railyard Park Conservancy for an afternoon of gardening and socializing in
the Railyard Park, followed by an after-party at Second Street Brewery. Bring a water
bottle, gloves, and dress for the weather; we’ll provide the tools and training.

All volunteers will receive:

• Happy hour beer and “bites” food menu pricing at Second Street following the event;
• Entry in a raffle to win two tickets to the 2025 International Folk Art Market;
• The satisfaction of contributing to the community stewardship of Santa Fe’s only
sustainable, drought-tolerant public green space.

Thanks to everyone who came out to help with our Missing Waters public art installation ... all 95 of you! When everything was said and done, we covered a whopping 2010 feet of Railyard surface area. A special dose of gratitude to the New Mexico School for the Arts students for bringing so much talent and energy to the project.

It's a Painting Party! 🎨🥳

Santa Fe Rail Trail by the Railyard Park

Help us put the public in Public Art by joining in the installation of Stacy Levy's large-scale water map painting "Missing Waters"! Created using a biodegradable mixture of chalk and water, the piece is meant to evoke Santa Fe's more watery past, when at least 40 acequias flowed through the region. Bring your creative energy and dress to get messy, we'll provide the paint and brushes.

Stick around to celebrate your artistry at the "Missing Waters" opening from 5pm-6:30pm outside the Railyard Park Community Room. Enjoy drinks, snacks and live music from local bluegrass band Shaggy Peak.

There are still seats available for the "Missing Waters" artist talk/panel discussion on Sunday, April 27th from 1pm-2:30pm at SITE Santa Fe. Email izzy@railyardpark.org to RSVP.
