Kids Drive-In Movie Night (Lion King Edition)

Friday June 1, 2018 – We partnered with AMP Concerts and Communities in Schools to bring an African safari to the Railyard Park! Materials were provided for every kid (and even some parents) to make a cardboard safari animal before the movie began. The Railyard Park Conservancy staff and volunteers provided cardboard boxes of all shapes and sizes, markers, fabric, feathers, and even a hot glue station as imaginations ran wild!

At 8:30 PM, the Railyard animal stampede (parade) commenced as lions, elephants, and exotic birds strutted their stuff for the audience.
