Saturday, April 9th, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm – Rose Care and Pruning with Katherine O’Brien, ARS Consulting Rosarian

Katherine will share her knowledge of roses and how to properly prune and care for them. As a professional landscaper and active member of the Santa Fe Rose Society, Katherine has pruned roses in Santa Fe for many years. She enjoys teaching people how to prune roses and teaches the yearly Master Gardeners class on roses. This year, she will also teach classes on roses at the Master Gardeners yearly convention. Attendees are asked to bring sharp pruners, loppers, a pruning saw, and a bottle of Elmer’s glue to the workshop.
