Maternal Mitochondria, made up of mother-daughter duo Miriam Sagan and Isabal Winson-Sagan created a site-specific installation of poetry and Suminagashi (paper marbling) in the Railyard Park. The Railyard Park was host to a workshop, which was free and open to the public. Participants learned the Japanese style of paper marbling and wrote poetry related to the local ecology of the Park.
Miriam and Isabel then created a geocache of these community works in the Railyard Park where users could map the works to discover their location within the Park.
