CHILDREN’S NATURE PLAY PROGRAMS

The Railyard Park Conservancy is committed to working with educators to get kids learning outdoors, and offering parents new ways to connect their children to nature. Outdoor time with both structured and unstructured play enhances kids’ health, expands imagination and attention spans, decreases aggression and boosts classroom performance.

Sand Play Saturday, a nature-play program in the Railyard Park Children’s Play Area, happens every Saturday throughout the Summer. Other programs offered include Earth Day Celebrations, Pop Up Playground and Mud Days. Check our events calendar to see what’s coming up!
