SAFE SUMMER FUN
Every Saturday, June – August 2021 the Railyard Park Conservancy hosted free family friendly programming in the heart of Santa Fe! We can’t wait for next summer!
We played, explored, discovered and more. We made new friendships, families had time together, and we all filled the Railyard Park with good energy! Thank you to all the children, families, volunteers, sponsors and other amazing contributors. Let’s come together again next year!
In the spirit of pivoting existing programming to work alongside pandemic safety precautions, the Railyard Park Conservancy adapted and expanded their popular Sand Play Saturday programming to offer not just Sand Play, but also stations sprinkled throughout the Park with activities like: Chalk Art, Storytelling, Scavenger Hunts, and more! There is something for everyone!
What to expect:
- Families should be prepared to get dirty, use their powers of observation, access their crafty side, and/or explore the Park. It’s best to bring a sense of adventure!
- Dress for the weather. Sunscreen and water bottles are highly recommended.
- While engaging with Safe Summer Fun stations throughout the Park, please wear your mask when social distancing is not possible.
- No charge!
