GREEN COYOTE Don Kennell's 13 ft x 16 ft Green Coyote was temporarily placed in the Railyard Park's picnic circle. The piece is constructed of up-cycled automobile sheet metal and now lives at it's permanent home outside Meow Wolf's House of Eternal Return. Don's inspiration for the piece stems from a string
“Home Is…” was an interactive project in the Railyard Park by Artist Bobbe Besold. A chalkboard was installed for 6 months in which time the community was encouraged to venture into the park and contribute to the piece by writing what home means to them.
Tierra Encantada Charter School Piano Project Students from Tierra Encantada Charter School sourced and, as a community project, painted and installed four pianos throughout the Park. During the summer, visitors to the Park would stop and spontaneously play the pianos to add music to the environment.
Renga Project The Renga Project was situated in the Railyard Park. Renga is an ancient traditional collaborative form of poetry from Japan. Poets write a short stanzaresponding to what has come before it. The Renga Project was written by 50 New Mexico poets. Each season of the year began with a 6 stanza poem,

“Before I Die…” or “All the Reasons to Live” was presented by New Mexico Suicide Intervention Project. A group of junior and high school students brought awareness in a positive way through this art installation.
